I am a photographer and a hobbyist. Lately I have been live tracing many of my pictures and I love the results. If we are so incline – can we sell these printings as paintings or computer art? I know that it would be deceptive to sell them as paintings. Is there a market for them as computer art?

Well No one is stopping you from selling any thing. check ebay.. Personally… I wouldn’t do that… unless you are calling it a stylized photo… I can spot when some one uses live trace… and personal i hate it… i do all my tracing by hand… even if it takes me hours… a human hand is much better then any program or algorithm. I will admit when it first came out i used to use it a lot… saves you a ton of time but at the same time… like i always say it is just a silly filter. any one can use a filter…
