I was watching the live trace tutorial by Frank and I would love to incorporate it into a brochure I am doing. HOWEVER, it was in Illustrator CS2. Is this function available in the much older version 10.0.3?
    Very big thanks.

    Hi ,

This very cool feature is new to CS2. To try it out, you can download a trail version of CS2 ( good for 30 days) and play with all the neat feature that are in Illustrator CS2 ( & CS) over version 10. Chances are you will never want to return to the old ways…

    Have fun!

In Adobe Dimensions, you had the choice to trace with the result of a center line,( single path). I cannot find any such option in live trace. When I try to trace a line drawing I get closed paths around the lines no matter what parameters I use. Was this feature excluded from live trace? I still have my dimensions but it certainly would make life easier if I could do this in AI 3.

    Thanks for your thoughts.
