live streaming – view past 12 hrs

Thanks for reading….I know this is not the right forum, but it is my forum….smile….
You guys are all so brilliant, thot someone could stear me in right direction.
i would like to program or set up the ability to live stream 24hr a day…we already have that, but in addition have a ‘slider’ so one can go back up to 12 hrs, to see what came before.
what would one call that?
currently we are paying 300 Euros a month to have this on one channel of live stream.
we would like to know / research / find out of there is some way we could program it ourselves to do this, (for just the cost of the initial programming, for example)
what do you think?
any ideas?

You can live stream on Twitch. I don’t know if you can go back during a live stream though…
Same for YouTube – I’ve never tried going back in the stream.Should be easy to find out! 🙂

Thanks for the tip about Avid.Seems the current system they use is HTML 5. The system they we pay for each month.
The boat load of storage is a very good point….storing 12 hrs. of streaming video.
