If you apply Conduit anywhere in an FCP sequence, your scopes come alive! It’s kind of a low rez image, but when you stop the time marker and it snaps to full rez you can see that it’s pretty darn accurate. Don’t know if this would work with the demo but I don’t see why not.

This feature is not advertised but maybe it should be, or whatever sliver of code that makes it work should be embellished and sold as it’s own profit center. I discovered it by accident. But it’s pretty cool!

Oh, and Conduit as a compositor is pretty cool too, and blazingly fast.

I may be reading you wrong, but with 5.1.2 you get live scopes now during playback without the need for any filters.

They’re live already with FCP 5.1.2. I get them all day long on our G5 Quad and Mac Pro Intel. That’s a new feature of FCP 5.1.2

if you have a powerful enough tower you can (almost) get them even without 5.1.2 using Opt-P

    Hmmm,

I could swear I had no live scopes before I tried this plugin, oh well, who cares why we have them? WooHoo!
