Live Hardware Key questions
Does anyone know if the key can be used to overlay title safe graticules while working in Final Cut Pro, ideally adding a keyed overlay to the final cut output without rendering? What I’m really wondering is if it works alongside Final Cut during capture and playback or do you have to set the machine up so it’s only adding the key to the input video, passing it straight through to the output SDI and nothing else works?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The keying function on the kona cards is not supported in FCP.
you can create a “graticule” image with a transparent background and then using the key overlay function in the Kona control panel. FCP does not support key or overlays direct from the app.
