    Hi Everyone,

I’m a videographer, and recently I was asked to do a relatively interesting project — work as the light and sound show for a rock concert. This would be more in keeping with the classic analogue technique of oil slides and tape slides used in the 60s. That said, I need some interesting effects.

What is a good piece of software for OSX that allows effects to be added to live capture video? The idea would be to capture the video with my EX1, and project it elsewhere with potentially added effects. I’m using EX1 -> HDSDI -> HDLink converter box -> HDMI -> panasonic projector.

    Thanks,
    Aemilia

It sounds like you’re looking for some VJ software. Here are some of the popular packages on the Mac:

    Modul8
    VDMX
    Livid Cell DNA
