Live capture from Sony F900 in HD to FCP – TC and audio?
We’re shooting 4 days of greenscreen with a Sony F900 and we want to live capture to FCP Studio 2 in ProRes. The test with the camera and a Miranda DVC-800 worked well; we were able to capture from the HD-SDI of the Miranda fine, but no Time Code or audio.
Has anyone done this and been able to get timecode and audio to FCP?
I looked at the Matrox MXO2 as an option but is looks like it doesn’t do TC either?
note: capturing with DeckLike HD Extreme

do you have the F900 configured to send audio over the HD-SDI?
Check that in the menu, same for the timecode.
You should definitely be able to get audio and video, not positive on the timecode though.

You can’t get timecode via SDI.
