List of Commands for Studio 8?
Can anyone point me to a list of commands that work for Movie Studio 8? I’ve been struggling with this program for several years and can’t find a way to make it do anything but trim out a bit using the Scrubber that someone told me how to do once before. All I want to do is cut off or trim some at the beginning and end of a video but can’t find any way to trim it and none of the commands listed in Help such as Trim will work like they say. I have a feeling this would be a useful program if there was some way to find out how to make it work but that seems nearly impossible without asking how to do every step. Tks.

Also, is there a way to edit the picture to remove an area such as the bottom half of the picture like you can easily do in a program like Photoshop? It seems like there should be a way to do that but I can’t figure out what it is called or where to find it.

Press “F1” – that will bring up the help file.
To “split” a video event for trimming, put the cursor where you want it cut and press “S”. Then delete the part you don’t want.
To “crop” an image, open Pan/Crop and adjust as desired.
