    Greetings!!
    How come I couldn’t find a tutorial or information how to make liquid in C4D? Just liquid like coffee in a mug or water falling into a cup..
    And also there’s no tutorials about cracks in grounds or walls… Like for examples ground and walls crack while earthquick strike
    I hope I made sence
    Thanks a lot and hope someone will put couple of tutorials out there to teach the rest of us

    Cinema doesn’t have liquid simulation built in, although there’s at least one plugin developer working on it. There’s also RealFlow, an external application that interfaces with Cinema via a plugin.

    For pouring water, about the best you can do now is to use particles with metaballs, but it tends to look more like jelly than liquid.

    Thanks for the quick response!
    Actually I kind of used particles and as you said it didn’t look right… There for I was wondering how all those guys on the net did the water simulation in C4D, so it turned out I have to have a 3rd party plugin

    Do you know how to make a crack in a wall or ground? Let’s say there’s an earthquake or someone punched a wall and made a crack, it doesn’t just a pear, the crack runs from one erea to another wiggling left and right like a snake or like a growing plant movement, I really hope you got what I’m saying, cause it’s even dificult for me to understand d what I’m saying

    I haven’t been able to do realistic cracks solely inside C4D but one thing you might try is this:

    Assuming you don’t need real deep cracks in your geometry, you could get away with texture and bump mapping ‘real’ cracks into your surface.

    Take or find a photo of real cracks. Then, in an appropriate program (like AE) wipe the cracks in from the center and save this animation.

    Use this file as a texture and as a bump map and you will get nice spreading cracks.

    Is it better just to do the whole thing in AE or working with C4D would make it more realistic?

    The only real thing that remotely looks semi-realistic in C4D would be to use a regular object (like a sphere or landscape making it spherical) then using the “melt” deformer. Review the link below to see a preview.
