    moving linking tabs … i.e like audio that link clips and audio together

    I have often wondered how to move the little link line on audio clips etc.
    now I have a project where this needs to be linked to particular frame of the movie….not the beginning of the audio track to the first clip in the timeline as is the default.

    Its a cymbal crash on the one and only audio track that lasts 2 mins… and I can mess around with all the clips in the magnetic timeline.. but this crash need to link to a particular frame. in other words sort of working the editing backwards. ????

    Hold option-command and click towards the top of the audio clip where you want the connection.

    It might help to toggle skimming off.
