    Hi Guys,

I have my R3D files in the native folder structure, but everytime I link to AMA volume it brings in the R3D along with the H,M,L,P files. Surely there is a way to bring in only the R3D? Otherwise this seems like it’d be a process that is too slow.

You need to point it at the RDM folder (to bring in the whole reel) or the RDC folder (to bring in just one shot, rather than the contents of the RDC folder. That should just bring one clip per shot.

Also make sure in the dialog window when you are selecting the folder that the format is not set to QuickTime. You need to make sure it is using R3D. Have you installed the RED AMA plug-in? If not, it will default to QuickTime.

Install the AMA plugin (it’s not installed by default anymore). I think that is why AMA is looking at the QT’s.
