Linking Projects Without Import
I am curious if anyone is aware of a process/plugin to link AE projects in the same manner as AI files are.
I have an AE project that is used as the intro to a series of projects. Right now if I change the intro, I re-import it and replace in each project. I’d like to be able to change the original project file, and have it update in the series when the files are opened, as if I updated an file in AI that was in the project. Any way to make this happen?

Unfortunately, Ae can’t link to AEPs, and the only plugin I know of that attempted to do this was not especially reliable and has been discontinued.
If you did your final assemblies in Premiere, you could use Dynamic Link to pull the intro comp into Premiere. This would remain live, so updates to the AEP would be immediately reflected in your Pr timeline.
