Linking problem
Hi there, I’m trying to link via source browser to apple pro res quicktime proxy files and when I select ‘link’ a very time consuming process begins of ‘Creating video from QT’. Can anyone please offer advice how to link without this process? many thanks!

I would guess your source browser is set to import …not link.
You have the option of either method from that window.
Make sure you have link set.
You can also “alt” drag from your explorer window directly into a bin. (windows)
I think it is option on a mac…but not positive. If you get creating….then you’ve used the wrong button. 🙂

Hi Glenn, thank you so much! The source browser is set to link but it keeps creating video…I’m not sure what’s going on there. However, the option drag works…thanks again ☺ Helen
