  Linking Multiple Items in Timeline

  I have several unlinked clips in my timeline, and I would like to link them. So far, I am only able to link them one at a time. If I select more than one video item and the corresponding audio for each, hitting Cmd-L has no effect.

  Interestingly, if I choose only one video item with its corresponding audio, the Link option in the Modify menu is unchecked. But if I choose more than one, it is checked, even though neither clip is linked to its corresponding audio.

  I have several hundred of these clips to link, and it seems there should be a shortcut. Can anyone help?
