Have you tried highlighting a group of clips and then grouping them? This seems to help when I have a particular group of clips with a relationship to one another and I need them to act as one. Go to Clip>Group and they will act as one. When you need to unlink them just go to Clip>Ungroup. Hope that was what you were looking for.

Thanks for the tip, but I find the link unlink very useful, as in fcp.

If someone could show me a way to link several clips at one time. I can unlink as many as I want to control separate audio tracks.

    Cheers

    Chris,

I don’t have an answer for you but I know what you mean. FCP had a nice linking systems that made it easy but it seems like even in premiere there is no search button for the clip, you have to type in the name.
