    Hello!

I recently transferred all my footage and project files from one hard drive to another in order to reorganize a project that had a lot of reshoots and had become quite messy. I realized that a couple of files had actually been originated from my desktop (oops). So I put those files onto the new hard drive and linked the media to recognize the files from that source.

Every other piece of footage that I linked after reorganizing is now recognized and opens when I open the project. But a group of files are still offline every time I open the project. If I link them to the footage source on the hard drive, then close the project and open it again, they are all offline again. Is there a step I’m missing/ something I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind! It turned out I had opened a project that I linked, closed it, and opened a copy of the project that wasn’t linked. Feel free to laugh at my expense.
