  Linking in motion

  Hi, 2 questions:

  1. How do I use the right end-position from a text layer, and linking to a new layer with offset. I can’t find the source to use.

  2. Is it possible to use the text (from FCP), and use this as a ref to which layer to use in a from – to camera behavior i.e.:

  camerastart x,y pos link to (layer(textlayver.textinput) x.y pos)

  with this I could make a map of the whole europe, make a Null-layer for each city. Use the project as a template in FCP. Type in From-City and the To-City, and maybe have a 3rd text layers (textsize) as the height the camera should move. And the camera-goto-layer will take me from the city am currently at, via the height to the new city I’m going to.

  Is this possible.

  I’could do it with textsize input and route these via somegridmapping… but I is much sexier and easier to use with names.
