I have a 12 page document. In pages 1-4 and 6-12 there are a series of threaded text boxes with footnotes. These number from 1 – 45. However on pages 5 there is a box with additional text with another 5 footnotes. These number from 1-5. I would like to incorporate them into the number scheme of the whole document. So effectively 1-51.

I tried resetting the start number via footnote options but this simply renumbers both sets of footnotes.

I’ve tried creating sections but this simply resets the count twice – on p5 and again on p6

    Appreciate any help

I would say the easiest way would be to make the text in one continuous flow. I’m unclear as to why it isn’t.
