Link figure caption to body text
On a large document we have many figures automatically numbered such as figure F.2. These figures are mentioned throughout the hundreds of pages of text, is there a way to automatically link the figure number to the reference in the body of the text.
This is really important because if we insert a new figure, the captions renumber automatically, but the references don’t and same thing if we move a figure.

Solution found, in CS4, this is a new feature, in older versions, it must be scripted in.

Go to the body text where you want to insert link of figure then go to the menu bar insert/reference/cross-reference.
