Link Camera with different comp resolutions
Hello,
Here is my problem :
I have a comp A with a standard resolution 1920×1080 with a 3d scene.
I have a comp B with the same ratio but much more higher resolution (10240×5760 to keep details from a projection mapping)
The comp B is inside the A but fit in height and width.
I want to link both camera but of course the coordinates are really different.
How can I do that ?

- Select the camera in your smaller comp
- edit > copy with property Links
- paste the linked camera in your larger comp.
Add “*(10240/1920);” to the expressions of these properties:
- Point of Interest
- Position
- Zoom
- Focus Distance
- Aperture
So for example, they will become something like
comp("Comp 1").layer("Camera 1").transform.pointOfInterest*(10240/1920);I think that’s all you need.
If the camera is parented to things, it becomes a bit more difficult though.
