Posted by Stig Olsen on October 19, 2015 at 9:12 amHi,
I’m looking for a good way to make the “lines” that you see in this video at 00:22 – https://www.toxic.no/work/edgefolio.toxic

October 19, 2015 at 9:22 amI realize that I could sketch up some lines with the pen tool and use stroke to fill them, but then I want to make them “dance”, or move together.

October 19, 2015 at 9:38 amFor no-plug-in approach, see this:

Then there are plug-ins such as Plexus that make this much less a manual task.

October 19, 2015 at 10:49 amThank you!
I’ve downloaded linescreator but I think I would try “connect layers” as well Ted. Is it a way to make the lines “move” between the dots, like stroking?Best, Stig

October 19, 2015 at 1:17 pmIf you are using the tutorial above with the beam effect, you can set the “length” to 100%, then animate the “Time” from 0 to 50% to have the line animate on.
