I’m stumped on what seems like it should be such a simple thing.

I know how to create a particle field in Particular showing random images. And I know how to create a network of lines in Plexus.

But I need either Particular to let me have lines connecting the particles at random, or have Plexus let me vary the images in the particles.

Is there any way to do either? I have all the Trapcode plugins so if you would use a different plugin or combo of them, I’m all ears.

Thanks for any help that anyone can give me with this…… the bottom line is I’m doing an animation of Facebook profile pictures floating in space with network lines connecting them. Would prefer to stay out of Cinema 4D but I will if I have to.

    Thanks so much!

I can’t think of any automated way to pull that out inside AE… C4d would be my way to go…it’s a simple setup if you know a bit of the software.

I’m familiar with C4D… I’m on a tight deadline so I’m willing to try anything. How, if you wouldn’t mind taking the time, would you approach this in Cinema?

Thanks so much for your help.

I responded but it doesn’t seem to be showing up – anyway that is a perfect place to start, I really appreciate your help. Thanks!
