July 9, 2009 at 6:56 pmUse the tabs feature.
Type “date” and then press the tab key.
Now, goto the “Type>Tabs” menu
In the little box that appears, first click once above the number to set a tab position. Next, in the “Leader:” box type the character you wish to proceed your tab, in this case an underscore “_” and then press the tab key again. Now you can drag your tab position (the little arrow) along the ruler to set the length of your line.Tech-T Productions

July 12, 2009 at 2:18 amIt is still text. Highlight the section you want with your text tool and change the color to the black swatch.

What I am design in Adobe Indesign is a cover letter for a fax and when I have words like Date one the cove letter i want to put a black line in front of the word so that when i print it the person can write on it. I did it once but for got how to
