Hi,! i’d like to create a Linear wipe that is triggered by the song keyframes.

This is what i’ve created so far:

    https://gyazo.com/c8ac933db6ba20e74850dd6986c50e75.png?1363198429

Basicly from the Audio Keyframes i sorted out to give me linear values from 50,40,100,0 but is there any way to make it so it only gives me 100 or 0 depending on the 50/40 instead of a linear value?

And Also i want the wipe to happen when it hits 100 and then stay. And if possible in the next High Peak to Wipe from 100 to 0.

It sounds confusing but i don’t have any other way to do it. I’ve thought about things like this:

An “If” that detects if the value is in 100 or in 0 and if the value is in 100 changing it to 0 so it wipes in the other direction. (assuming at this point it already wiped from 0 to 100)

If needed i can try and explain it in a different way.

    Thank you very much.

It’s complicated. Your expression needs to count the number of transitions from 0 that 100 have occured in the past (to know which direction to run the transition. It also needs to know how long it has been since the last transition (to know how far along the wipe should be). If your comp is long, things will bog down, because the expression has to look at every previous frame, which takes more and more time the farther into the comp you get.

Basically, you need to combine the techniques of these two examples:
