  • Linear disables when keyframes are set?

My actual problem would take a long time to explain so im just going to strip down to the basic info and hope thats enough that someone knows whats happening, and if not ill explain further.

I basically have a property (an xScale of a grid particular emitter) linked to a slider with a linear remapping on it (emitter xScale is the one with the remapping on it) , when i scrub the slider everything works exactly as it should, but when i set a keyframe and try to animate the value of the slider the my emitter just stays the value at which the keyframe was set, wont animate accordingly. Anyone know whats going on there and how to fix it? thanks.

Does it work if you disable the expression and keyframe the values generated by the expression? How about Convert Expression to Keyframes – does that work? Is it possible you’ve set up a looped chain of expressions where two expressions depend on the results of each other?

you know what thanks, you pointed it something i shouldve already known. Its a particular thing not on expression thing, its doesnt work even when i disable the expression and keyframe the value because its an emitter shooting one burst of particles and staying (so technically it does work but i dont have particles emitting over a period of time to show the new emitter size), should be able to plug into a world transform thanks!
