    Hey all,

I have two questions that I was hoping to get some advice on:

    1. I have a blue snowball mic but can’t figure out how to get SV8 to recognize it. My setup is that I use a headset (with mic) for audio out and I want to use the blue snowball for audio/line in (I am able to do so with Skype). Does anyone know how I can get SV8 to recognize that the line in should be the blue snowball and the audio out should be the headset?

    2. Can anyone suggest a program or plug in to use with SV8 to enhance videos? I was looking for a greater choice of video templates or choices to use with SV8?

    Thanks,

The audio I/O is determined by your computer. Vegas just shows you what Windows can see. You need to set up Windows so that it can see the Blue Snowball as your default mic input. Then in Vegas you simply select it after you have armed a track. You should refer to the Blue Snowball documentation for how to make Windows recognize it as the default mic. It should not be showing up as Line-In but rather Mic-In but maybe the Blue Snowball does things different which is why I recommend you consult their documentation.
