February 10, 2021 at 6:01 pmIn Davinci 15, I have tremendous difficulties to control line breaks.
Say I have a sentence that is long enough to produce an automatic line break at word W for example. Not happy with the distribution of the words on both lines, I decided to manually add a line break (shit+enter) somewhere before.
While the new line break works, the old automatic line break still occurs at the same spot creating a third line ?
Is that a bug, how can I avoid that ?

February 10, 2021 at 7:29 pmYou just need to remove the old line break. Place your cursor at the end of the word before the unwanted line break, then hit delete until the next word becomes part of the previous word, then hit the space bar to put a space there.
I hope that makes sense. The line breaks are formatting and are not visible to you, but they are there. I sometimes eliminate and recreate them multiple times before I am happy with the layout on multi-line subtitles.

February 11, 2021 at 4:27 pmOkay in fact my problem came when I used [shift+enter] to break the line. If I just use [enter] it works fine.
Weird. Thanks anyway.
