I’ve been a promo/short format editor for years so never really used multi-cam. I’m cutting a pilot and have a sequence with 3 camera sources (1 sequence with 3 video tracks). I’m missing something as I’m not able to enter multicam mode. What am I missing?

I don’t see the option to group clips…I’m thinking I have to show reference clips and then group them all together?

    any help would be peachy..

Running MC 4.0.5 on an iMac i7.

Put the 3 clips in one bin, highlight them, go to the BIN menu, group clips should be there.

you should also map the quad split button somewhere in your interface or keyboard to enter multicam mode.
i would take 20 minutes to read the manual chapter on multicam.
this mode has many features and options, and may get tricky.
