Hello. I’ve created a wormhole using a cylinder and some wind deformers, and I’d like to have some lights wizzing through it. Unfortunately I can’t figure out how to make lights follow the changing path of the wormhole, so any help would be great thanks.

    Here’s a thought (meaning I haven’t actually tried it :-)):

Use a sweepNURBS instead of a cylinder and apply the wind deformers to the path spline. Now, you can’t use an align-to-spline tag to follow the deformed spline, unfortunately, because the tag doesn’t recognize the deformation. But there’s a trick you can use (thanks base80!) if you have MoGraph:

Clone a bunch of nulls along the spline, use a Tracer Object to draw a spline between the clones, and then use the align-to-spline tag on your light(s) referencing the Tracer object.
