I’ve got a g5 quad 2.5 with GeForce 6600 graphics card I m using ae 7 pro with gridiron nucleo. My problem is I can’t see the effects of lights on my 3d layers unless I render them our. Why can’t I see them in preview. I have a HUGE animation job and this is driving me crazy. When I check the preview settings, it says up to 8 lights are supported with this card, but I am running out of hope.

Probably the Draft 3D button is pressed, It’s the one with a small sunbeam next to a cube, to the left of the Shy button

Are you using OpenGL fast previews? Are your results satisfactory with this method? I find Adaptive Resolution works a lot better for me.
