    Hello All,

I have been asked by a client to apply the ‘Word Flash’ text effect from the Lights and Optical preset for a digital commercial I am creating.

The problem I am encountering though is this:

In Bridge, when you view this preset the word ‘word’ and ‘flash’ have this instant flash appearing, which is what the client sees over the web. However, when I apply this onto my text, all that happens is that the type ‘zooms’ in from a distance and the type also rotates! Am I missing something here, or is the preset I applied not working correctly?

I really would appreciate some help here as the client is insisting on this preset.

    Many thanks in advance.

Make sure you adjust the timing properly or leave it untouched – whichever is appropriate. These presets rely heavily on motion blur, so the timing is key. Also check your composition settings and enable motion blur preview.
