  Lightning effects

  I’m looking for a tutorial and/or plug-in to create lightning effects:
  –lightning strike outside windows lights up room
  –we see a bolt of lightning out the window — that also lights up the room

  I can find the information for Sony Vegas and After Effects but so far not for FCP — I’m looking for my students.
