    Hi,

I am a student studying building services engineering and came across this site and thought you guys could help me out on something i am researching. I have come across two terms while studying lighting design:
-Target lighting power density (W/m squared per 100lux
-Average initial circuit luminous efficiency (lumens per watt)
Could anyone tell me are these terms dictated by the luminaire itself or are they also affected by the layout (how many lights in a room)
and are they directly related to each other?
Apologies if queries like this aren’t appreciated here.
Thanks in advance for any help.
