  Lighting an object??

  I want to light an object in AE 5.5. Normally I’d use Photoshop, add the layer effect Inner Shadow (color white, screen) and use a batch. But this is an animation I want to light of a car heading towards a light in the distance. In the beginning he’s very big and at the end he’s very small, so if I set the ‘shadow’ on 3px in the beginning it looks good but at the end you can’t see it because the object is too small.

  So I wonder if there’s a plug-in for AE to add this effect? Or something else that could help me… Any help would be appreciated.
