    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to create something like this:

    https://www.easyphotoupload.com/uploads/bc4d6b3b4c.png

But it should be a solid line that moves around in 3D-Space…like the good old iPod Nano commercial, but not with a couple of lines creating the trail, but one single line.

I’m stuck on how to use Particular. Should I use a Photoshop-Stroke for the Emitter and increase my number of Particles to achieve a solid trail – or should I use a light as an Emitter – or should I use the photoshop stroke as the particle-type?

    Does anyone get my point???

    Thank you so much…

I get what you’re saying, but creating a still like that is just screaming to be created with FORM.

I’d say make a couple different emitters on different layers if you want to go that route, and just layer them.

There is more than one way to skin a cat!

    Nicholas,

don’t get me wrong…I’m not trying to create a still image…I need an animation…

    Cheers

    Let me re-phrase

That style of animation/look is begging, screaming, pleading, do be done with Form.

So far I just did some playing around with form…but at this moment I can’t imagine how to animate a trail in 3D-Space the way I want it to animate. Because as far as I understood Form you are not able to animate the form itself, but only maps that are affecting the grid.

    But I’m pretty sure that I’m wrong…
