Hi there, i building a scene that have a diamant and i want the light to refract in the diamant, and give the rgb effect.

I know that might be a bit tricky but any sugestions, tutorials and plugins are more than welcome.

    Thanks a lot

Cinema doesn’t support spectral refraction, but there is a way to do it. What you have to do is render three times: once with red light, once with blue, and once with green. The key is to change the diamond material’s refractive index for each pass to mimic the different wavelengths of light, and then combine the three renders in PS or another image editing program.

Unfortunately I can’t tell you offhand which index numbers to use.
