    Dear friends!
How do I set up a transparent material that has a light diffusion? Like a dirty glass. When you illuminate a dirty glass by a torch, you can see light spot from two sides of glass.
I tried to do everything I can with standard C4D materials.

I think you may be looking for the effects>backlight shader. Can you share a picture of the look you’re trying to achieve?

The way to do that is to use a light as your projector and put a material on your screen that has the backlight shader in the luminance channel. The light also has to have a texture which should have your image or footage in the transparency or alpha channel. The texture tag should be set to flat projection.

    Example (R12): 1416_rearprojection.c4d.zip
