Light banding on DSLR- post house removal?
Hiya, we recently did an interview shoot overseas, and the camera guys were using a dslr for an interview under fluro lighting. They didn’t set the shutter speed to account for this, so now there’s that fantastic moving colour band effect like this: https://nofilmschool.com/2010/08/how-to-remove-horizontal-banding-artifacts-from-dslr-footage/
I know the above is (ironically) a mini-fix for this, but we need it to be as good as poss. Time and money arent really too much of an issue, but our in house ability and resources are limited- so we’re looking for a post house we can send the footage to and they’ll remove it. Can anyone recommend anywhere that will do this/ has had experience cleaning up artefacts like this?
(Also, is there a technical name for this effect?).PS It’s only on a static interview shot so hopefully it isnt an impossible process…
