I’m trying to use the lift/overwrite button to slide a video clip to match the audio. Normally on News Cutter and Composer you can move a clip frame by frame, for some reason on Express DV it doesn’t to that. Is there a setting I can change to adjust it?

I’m not sure if this will do what you want, but add filler for a couple frames then use trim tool to slide it.

Do you have the timeline view zoomed in enough? Try ‘command or control + [ or ]’. It gives you much more better control than the little slider. Once you are zoomed in, you should have a little better control.

Not sure if this works on XDV, but on Adrenaline to go frame by frame in segment mode you press and hold the ALT key while dragging.

    good luck,

I’ve zoomed in all the way (that’s how Adreneline and Composer work best) and that didn’t work, so I’ll try the ALT button. Thanks!
