There are Cow forums with little traffic that have lasted years. Keep the traffic going and the forum lives.

I see many people running with various versions of FCP for years. We still get people asking about V4.5.

    Alexander,

Though I don’t speak for Ronald, I do speak with Ronald, and I know that he believes the discussion here to be invaluable to the community.

Are you concerned it’s going to be taken away?

Don’t sweat it Alexander, I can assure you this forum will survive well into the foreseeable future. And, they’ll have to drag many of us away kicking and screaming.

My plans are to buy soon an Imac and keep working with FCS3.
As long as the Apps works, I can do my job with FC.7, Color and any thing like AE, Motion or SHAKE.
I will be getting close to PP, because will be a great opportunity to re-take AE (I leave it inAE.6.5)

Why ask? The product hasn’t magically disappeared. Folks seem excited about the opportunity to purchase more licenses of it. I’m not because it’s an old program as it is, but folks are going to continue to use it for at least two more years is my guess.

Look at the FCP 6 questions that keep popping up on here.

    [walter biscardi] “Why ask?”

It does seem like the amount of posts in this forum has dropped off.
So if your a casual viewer that had your Final Cut rug yanked out from under you by apple a couple weeks ago, the stability and longevity of a forum like this might cross your mind.
It just shows the depth of the uncertainty created by how poorly apple is handling this.

Yeah, there is still a Commotion and a Shake forum here at the Cow pasture…just in case there are people still using these EOLed apps.
