Library Smart Collection Not Working
Hi,
I am trying to filter out all interview clips that I’ve favorited. The clips are in multiple events but the same library. When I create a library smart collection with “all” of those two criteria (fav’s and keyword “interviews”), nothing comes up. Yet, I know I have clips with both of those criteria.
Any ideas?

Ok, I sort of figured this out…it looks like if I went to each event and selected the fav’s, those interview clips didn’t have the keyword “interviews” attached to them…yet, the main clips I pulled them from did.
Is something broken? Or is this how it’s supposed to work? Do I have to attach a keyword to each subclip as well?

Ok, for anyone having a similar issue, I figured this out…and it was me…not FCPX. ☺
I had selected/fav’d the subclips from the sync’d compound clip of each interview…but I never keyworded the sync’d clips. ☺
If this is you, this is why as well. ☺
