    Library and Templates on a external drive

    I am trying to put my Motion and LiveType Library and Templates on a external drive.They reside there. .

    I am using a Intel 15″ and drive real esate is a premium. The problem (example) is that in the particle emitters are shown in the external hard drive, but the .png files are not linked. I have to mamually link they a each use. I went into preferences and reset the location, as well as throwing away the the preference files. Neither was successful

    Any suggestions?

    Have you tried putting an alias to the external drive folder where you moved the contents into the appropriate Shared User Motion folder?
