LHi down convert
I am trying to down convert DVCPRO HD to standard definition using the LHi control panel while playing the video through Final Cut Pro and recording the playback through a DVD recorder. What settings do I have to input into the LHi control panel to do this correctly?
I have RGB going into the DVD player and Composite and HDMI coming out of the DVD player.

You need to set the ANALOG OUTPUT to 525i. Then you will see a little DOWNCONVERT box appear between the Frame Buffer and the output triangle.

Leave FCP in the HD easy setup that matches your footage, then open the control panel and set the analog output to secondary and 525i like Shane said.
