Lhe in a 2.66 8 core won’t show up after drivers installed

I am moving my Lhe to a 2.66 – 8 core (Early 2009), but the card won’t show up after the drivers are installed. I have tried the 8.12 through 9.1 drivers. None seem to work. I have a IO Express that does show up in the same computer. The Lhe works fine in my 2.8 – 8 core (Early 2008) both computers are running 10.6.8.

Anyone have any idea why the Lhe won’t show up in the 2.66 8 core (Early 2009)?

Just a long shot – do you have it in the same slot as the other computers? If so, maybe try another one.

Thanks for the reply. It’s in slot 2 which is where AJA recommends and the same as the 2.8 computer. I tried slot 3 (4x) and the computer won’t boot.

What version of operating system is running on the machine?

Do you use the AJA uninstall utility when removing the drivers before installing the new ones?

10.6.8 on both machines. Yes, uninstalled with each of the AJA driver versions I tested.
The 2.66 has a clean install of 10.6.8 and the only thing installed was FCP 7.03, Motion & DVDSP.

Boy, that’s a stumper. I suggest you call AJA Tech Support on Monday. They are a great bunch of folks who can be very helpful with brain busters like this!

Thanks Tom, I tried my Lhe in two more computers. A 2.26 – 8 core (Early 2009) and a 2.8 – 4 core (Early 2010) and it didn’t work in any of them! Must be a problem with my card.
