  Levels expression

  Hi

  This is so dumb I can’t believe I’m asking, but I am stumped. I’m trying to link the histogram of one Levels effect to another in a layer below. So, as usual, I alt-click on the stopwatch and… nothing. No Expression. I thought any parameter with a stopwatch could be used as an Expression? Weirdly, Curves also denies me but everything else in my comp works. An Adjustment layer would be a long workaround.
