The levels on my JVC camera are always at proper levels on the lcd monitor -12 or a little louder.

After capturing the footage, the audio is always at -30 to -24.

It’s a simple increase of audio in the time lines and it always sounds fine after doing that. I just wonder why there is such a dramatic difference, and what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks for any tips,
    Vinnie

    Hi,
How about a little more info?
Which camera? What is the workflow you are using to capture, and with what hardware, and to what system?
Are you judging this by a recorded reference tone?
