Letus Adapters
I am presently shooting with the Sony EX3 and would like a
shallower depth of field (like everybody and their brother!)
So, I’m strongly considering the Letus Adapter, and would like
to know (from an image stand point), what is the biggest difference
between the Letus Ultimate and the Letus Elite? (Besides the
price.)
What am I getting for the extra 2K?
Secondly, once the Letus is attached, what lense would you recommend?
I’d like to get a zoom, (maybe a 25-85 range), and I am told to get a
constant 2.8 speed.
What make and model would you recommend?
And finally, once this zoom lense is attached to the Letus, what am
I seeing in the viewfinder? I understand the Letus stops the picture down half a stop, but what I’m seeing in the view finder…is that what I’m getting?
Thanks a bunch.
Moo On.
PS
I understand, that although the EX3 can take interchangeable lenses,
it doesn’t have the Sensor strenght (or size) to create the shallow depth thru a 35mm SLR lense without the adapter.
Is Sony making a lense (or anyone else) which might create a shallow depth of filed without having to attach the adapter?
