    Hi!

I need to do an animation where there are a lot of swarming letters that gather into the shape of a flying bee. Then, the letters should spread and form another shapes. Is there a way to do this with 2d software without having to keyframe everything?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

Sounds like you’ll have to do morphing using Reshape. Very tedious and lots of keyframing.

Do the letters need to spell something out at any particular time or can they be entirely random? If the latter is the case then you should be able to use Trapcode’s Particular, or another particle system effect, to control the letters fairly well.

If the former is the case then you might try using Card Dance to achieve the look. This should give you some ideas if you can follow along with Ayato =)
