    Letterbox 4:3 footage

    Hi,

    Just have a simple question…In Final Cut to do this I would just go to Effects>Matte>Widescreen which would apply a letterbox mask and cover the top and bottom. Is there something similar in Premiere Pro CS5?

    In the templates of the titler you will find a letterbox matte .

    Or use the crop effect, or the 4-point garbage matte effect.
