    leterbox on output fom HDPro card?

    i know i can cut with a letterbox mask on an upper track,
    but what’d be best for me would be a mask added on output to the viewing monitor.

    we’ve got a bunch of HDPro cards, and i’m wondering if they can do that?
    how about LiveKey?
    it seems to be designed for something a bit different.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure what format your timeline is in. If it’s 16:9 and you want to output a letterbox video, nest the anamorphic sequence into a 4:3 sequence. Final Cut Pro will do the job for you.
